Proudly Serving St. Louis Since 1954

Since 1954, our family has been part of celebrations across the St. Louis area. When Molly Brown’s Fireworks was established in 1967, it continued that legacy with reliable fireworks and friendly service.

From Route 66 to Molly Brown's

Our story began in 1954 with a small fireworks stand along old Route 66 just west of St. Louis. Over the years, our family built a tradition around seasonal businesses and local celebrations, including Wet Willy’s Water Slide in Peerless Park, Christmas Forest tree lots, pumpkin patches, and, of course, fireworks.

In 1967, James Lee Kell introduced the Molly Brown’s Fireworks name, inspired by the “Unsinkable Molly Brown.” Since then, Molly Brown’s has carried that family tradition forward, serving generations of families and becoming part of celebrations across the St. Louis area.

See Where the Tradition Lives Today
